Hotel Ristorante il Castagno, a family story.

Since 1988, we three brothers – Valerio, Luciano, and chef Claudio  – have managed the Ristorante Hotel Il Castagno in Orciano di Pesaro with passion and commitment. It has
become a true culinary landmark in our region, and its  evolution over the years has been deeply enriched and sustained by the essential contribution of our entire family.

Cinzia delights guests with her exquisite artisanal ice creams, Davide carries on the art of pizza as an expert pizzaiolo, and Gloria and Simone are always busy contributing in the kitchen.
Together with our close-knit family team and external collaborators, we continue to offer excellent quality cuisine and warm hospitality, keeping alive a tradition that is the result of great love and commitment to this job.

The name “Il Castagno” (The Chestnut Tree) pays homage to a majestic, centuries-old horse chestnut tree that once graced our back garden. This imposing tree wasn’t just part of the landscape, it was a genuine family presence, and its loss was deeply felt. In its memory, and with great pride, the Tarsi family has kept the name, celebrating its legacy in every corner of the hotel. Inside Ristorante Hotel Il Castagno, guests will find tributes to this magnificent tree: paintings, photographs, and, of course, the name itself all keep its memory alive.

Our goal is to welcome our guests in genuine Italian hospitality made of sincere warmth, thoughtful attention, and a family atmosphere that makes everyone feel at home from the very first moment. We want to pamper them with homemade, traditional culinary experiences that tell the richness of our territory.
